Wynonna Judd and Trisha Yearwood joined forces on the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee, delivering a powerful performance of their duet featured on the A Tribute To The Judds album, “Cry Myself To Sleep.”

Judd took the Opry stage on Tuesday night (November 14) to perform some of her most iconic hits — including “Rock Bottom,” “Only Love,” “No One Else On Earth,” and her Hank Williams cover, “I Saw The Light” — in addition to her duet with Yearwood. The two country megastars teamed up on the reimagined version of The Judds’ “Cry Myself To Sleep” on the tribute album to the iconic mother-daughter duo (including Wynonna’s late mother, Naomi Judd), which released last month. The Judds released “Cry Myself To Sleep” in the mid-1980s. Yearwood also delivered her own renditions of “Wrong Side of Memphis,” “The Song Remembers When,” “She’s In Love With the Boy” and Patsy Cline’s “Sweet Dreams.”

“I was absolutely delighted when Trisha showed up at the studio on the farm to record 'Cry Myself To Sleep' with me,” Judd said in a statement when the reimagined track debuted in late September. “We have known each other for years, but have never worked together. In today’s world of technology, artists often don’t get to be in the same room as the other person to record a song. It was so refreshing! I am thrilled with the song, and I cannot wait to sing it live with her.”

Yearwood added at that time that “getting to be a part of celebrating Judds music is such an honor. I’m a true fan, and singing with Wynonna has been a dream come true! I’m proud to be a part of honoring the music that Naomi and Wynonna created.” On Tuesday she posted a photo with Judd, saying that she was “NOT crying myself to sleep tonight!! 💜”
