Gospel Artist Koryn Hawthorne is Engaged to Be Married

Gospel singer and actress Koryn Hawthorne is engaged!

The Stellar Award winning, Grammy-nominated star, who was a finalist on Season 8 of The Voice is engaged to be married. The 25 year old recently shared on social media that she and her long time friend, Hunter Register, 27 are now engaged. He popped the question in New Orleans, which is about a two hour drive from where they grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Koryn and Hunter have known each other since they were kids because their brothers used to play basketball together, but they never entertained the thought of a love connection. However, his ability to make his intentions clear about her, and the fact that they aligned with what she wanted and had prayed for in a husband, allowed them to find the best in one another.
