David Kushner Explains How 'Daylight,' Dean Lewis Tour Changed His Life

David Kushner is reflecting on a tremendous year in music where he got huge assists from his following on TikTok and his friend Dean Lewis.

Speaking with Danielle Monaro and Medha Gandhi at the Mercedes-Benz Interview Lounge at Z100's JingleBall, Kushner brought up the Dean Lewis tour as one of the biggest moments of his career so far.

"That was earlier this year," Kushner recalls. "It was right around the time that my song 'Daylight' was coming out. That tour was just really special and then 'Daylight' came out towards the end of the tour. And then my career was totally different after that song, so I would say that tour."

Looking forward to next year, Kushner says he has an album in the works and plans to play "a lot of festivals."
