PreSchool Teacher Accused Of Giving Sleepy Time Patches To Students

A California preschool teacher is accused of applying patches to students to make them sleepy. The parents of the three-and-four-year-old children were outraged to find out that the teacher at Options For Learning, Head Start, in the Los Angeles suburb of South El Monte, was placing the sleepy time stickers on every student and removing them before dismissal. A parent who popped into class unannounced discovered the practice. The school district says the teacher has been terminated, but parents demand more. They believe a crime punishable by jail time has been committed.
