Child At School Finds Jar Of Cocaine On Playground

Police in Washington state are investigating after an elementary student found a jar of cocaine on the playground. School officials at Evergreen Heights Elementary in Auburn, south of Seattle, say the child found the jar last week and tasted the powder. Police tested the substance and confirmed it was cocaine. A letter has been sent home to parents and teachers have been instructed to talk to students about what to do if they see anything that makes them uncomfortable. The child is fine.
