Do you remember this deep cut from Hunter Hayes?

The Louisiana-born singer-songwriter got nostalgic during a recent concert when he delivered a stunning rendition of a ballad from his second full-length studio album, Storyline, which made its debut in May 2014. Hayes, who co-wrote and co-produced each song on the 14-track album, said he “had a totally different set list every night” of his latest tour. He “change it on stage every night,” Hayes wrote in his caption on TikTok as he posted a clip of his live performance of “You Think You Know Somebody.”

Hayes, who tagged the video in Nashville, Tennessee, said he “was so ecstatic to see the crowd reaction.” The audience’s cheers and eager screams rang through the venue after the Red Sky star revealed the next song in his setlist that night. Seated at the piano, Hayes said he “really can’t f*** up the lyrics now,” as he began singing “You Think You Know Somebody.”

“Every late night call/ Every morning kiss/ All the ‘I can't live without yous’/ And you say goodbye like this/ Don't you understand?/ Do you even care?/ If you love me like you said you did/ Well you'd still be standing here/ You think you know somebody yeah”

Hayes released Storyline in 2014. His most recent full-length project is Red Sky Continued, a 20-track record expanding the version that made its debut in April. Watch Hayes perform the throwback here:
