Watch Chris Young Hilariously Tease 'Confidential' Details

Chris Young is kicking off 2024 by dropping long-awaited details about his plans in the new year (sort of).

The “Young Love & Saturday Nights” superstar posted a video on his social media channels on Wednesday (January 3), apparently speaking about his forthcoming record. The video is edited, however, to censor key details with a loud “beep” and “CONFIDENTIAL,” written in red, capital letters over Young’s face.

“2023 was fun but I’m thinkin’ 2024 might be better…,” Young wrote in his caption on Instagram, adding an emoji of a pair of eyes in the comments. Other Instagram users were quick to leave comments expressing their eagerness for new music from the Tennessee-born singer-songwriter in 2024.

Young spoke about his next full-length album during a previous interview with iHeartCountry, in addition to his David Bowie-inspired single and his weight loss transformation. The country star’s next project will follow Famous Friends, which debuted in 2021, with a deluxe edition following in 2022.

“I’ve been living with it for so long, I’m so excited for people to actually be able to dig into it and hear all of it as a whole as opposed to one or two teaser clips,” Young previously told iHeartCountry of his next album. “It’s always fun to post that stuff, but I want people to really dive into this album and enjoy the work that we’ve put into it.

“I know it’s gonna sound cliché, but this is one of my favorite projects I’ve ever made,” he continued. “If there was actually any inspiration for me being fired up and working on myself, it would probably be that the music is so good. I’m really, really proud of this project. I want people to hear it.”
