"Glee" Reboot Not Out Of The Question

Ready for more high school kids singing pop hits? The Brad Falchuk/Ryan Murphy series "Glee" finished it's original run almost a decade ago, but Falchuk says he wouldn't be against bringing it back. In an interview with "The Hollywood Reporter," Falchuk talked the pros and cons of bringing back the iconic series. “I’m sure everything is always on the table,” he said in the interview. “But is there a way to tell that story in a more modern way?” He continued, "So much of what 'Glee' was about was really this transition from an old way of looking at representation to a new way. I’d never say no, but I wonder what the point would be - except it’d be a moneymaker.” As for his partner Murphy, he's already on record as being on-board a reboot. Back in 2020 he even teased his Instagram followers with an idea for a new project, laying out a plot and adding, "I WANT TO SHOOT THIS DO-OVER PILOT. Maybe I will?"
