Parker McCollum Cancels Show 'Due To Unforeseen Circumstances'

Parker McCollum announced on Friday (January 5) that one of his upcoming shows in 2024 would be canceled, “due to unforeseen circumstances.” The country star promised, however, that the cancelation would “make sense in the near future,” and encouraged his followers to stay tuned for more info.

“Hey, good morning, College Station, Texas,” McCollum said in a video posted to Instagram. “Our show (on) August 30, 2024 is officially canceled. All tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase. I apologize for any inconvenience. This is all due to unforeseen circumstances, and it’ll all make sense at some point in the near future, but I just wanted to keep you guys updated. This is an official announcement that August 30 in College Station is canceled. Tickets (will be) refunded at point of purchase. Y’all stay tuned. That’s all I can say about it right now. So, I apologize. Hope you guys understand, and hope to see you sometime this year.”

McCollum reiterated in his Instagram caption that the August 30 show in College Station would be canceled, and “we have some exciting news that we’ll be announcing in the near future so be on the lookout!”

The College Station concert was one of the final stops on McCollum’s headlining “Burn It Down Tour,” set to kick off this month. The Never Enough hitmaker is set to take the stage on January 18 in Spokane, Washington, with stops in Utah, South Carolina, Louisiana, Florida and other destinations before coming to a close in Texas in August. McCollum is bringing special guests Corey Kent, Larry Fleet, George Birge and Catie Offerman on the “Burn It Down Tour.” See the dates here:
