Adam Doleac released a fresh, “captivating love ballad,” that tells a romantic story with a unique spin. The country star kicked off the first weekend of 2024 with “Ain’t She” on Friday (January 5).

Doleac the idea for his latest song is one that he’s loved “since the day I wrote the title down in my notes,” he wrote in a caption on Instagram as he announced the song’s debut. “This year is about new music and LOTS of it. We will get to that soon, but I’d say 2024 is off to a damn good start, Ain’t She?!?!”

The Mississippi-born singer-songwriter, 35, wrote “Ain’t She’ with John Pierce and Paul DiGiovanni. It comes at the heels of his version of “Dare You To Move,” a cover of the smash-hit released by Switchfoot more than two decades ago.

“To start the year off right, I wanted to give my fans a sneak peek at this next chapter of my journey with music. ‘Ain’t She’ is not your average love story, it’s about the girl who saved the guy,” Doleac, who is welcoming Baby No. 1 with wife MacKinnon this year, said in a statement. “I wrote this track with the sentiment that we get lucky in life with that one person who can turn your world upside down for the better.”
