Pregnant Jessie James Decker Shares Why 4th Baby's Birth Will Be Different

Jessie James Decker shared that she won’t deliver Baby No. 4 in Colorado, as she did with her three eldest children.

The country singer, cookbook author and Kittenish founder fielded a few questions from Instagram users in a Q&A on her story on Thursday (January 11). Decker — along with Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, Jon Pardi and others — is one of several artists welcoming a child in 2024. The “I’m Gonna Love You” star, pregnant with a baby boy, responded to one person who wanted to know, “Will you have little man in Colorado?!”

“I’ve had all 3 in Colorado and this will be the first time I don’t,” Decker wrote in her response. “My kids are a lot older in school and sports and I would have to fly out weeks in advance and it would just be too hard for everyone. It was a hard and sentimental decision and I have loved giving birth in Colorado with my doc there. My shower theme was Colorado mountains so I could bring a Little Colorado to Tennessee for this sweet baby. Colorado is special to us in so many ways.”

Decker and her husband, Eric Decker, former NFL star who played for the Denver Broncos, are parents to Vivianne, Eric Jr. and Forrest. The kids started fourth grade, second grade and Kindergarten this year, respectively, the Just Eat cookbook author shared when she posted back-to-school photos. Decker, who posed in a new clothing collection with her mom and sister on her story, said she’s due to welcome Baby No. 4 next month (“I know, I know, I’ve been pregnant forever,” she wrote in another slide on her Instagram story).

Decker’s sister, Sydney Rae Bass, and sister-in-law, Ali James, recently threw her a cozy, Colorado-themed baby shower to celebrate Baby No. 4. Decker, who announced her pregnancy in August, said she “had tears of joys walking in because I was overwhelmed with love and emotion and just feeling so grateful. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me in our cozy jammies. This baby boy is loved so much already💙”
