VIDEO: Nancy Mace to deliver commencement address at The Citadel

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) will return to The Citadel to deliver the school’s commencement address, 25 years after she became the school’s first female graduate.
The Citadel’s commencement ceremony is scheduled for May 4.
Mace enrolled in the school in 1996. She was a member of Band Company and graduated with a degree in business administration.
Women now make up around 13% of the Corps of Cadets.
Mace has represented South Carolina’s First District since 2021.
The Citadel Graduate Commencement is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. May 4.
Both events will be held in McAlister Field House.
