Watch: Train Crashes into Car on Tracks, Driver Uninjured Charged with DWI

On Wednesday night, a car collided with a train in Voorheesville, resulting in the arrest of the car's driver. The accident took place on North Main Street. Fortunately, the driver did not sustain any injuries. However, the driver was arrested for DWI after registering a BAC of .26. In a post on X, Sheriff Apple clarified that the initial reporting of the accident was incorrect. Initially, it was reported that the car was empty and parked on the tracks.

Can't park there! This was in Voorheesville around an hour ago. According to the Sheriff the vehicle was occupied but the driver didn't sustain any injuries.The driver was arrested for a DUI after he blew a .26. 📸 Credit: Darryl F. Carl The individual who posted the video stated the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash but according to the Sheriff's the vehicle was occupied by the driver.
