Thomas Rhett hinted at a new chapter in his music on Tuesday afternoon (March 5).

The award-winning country star posted a series of photos and videos on his social media pages to capture “the other side of life lately.” Rhett’s post comes nearly two weeks after he shared snapshots of life with his wife, Lauren Akins, and kids: Willa Gray (8), Ada James (6), Lennon Love (3) and Lillie Carolina (2).

Now, Rhett is showing that he’s also been keeping busy at “rehearsal with the boys, finishing this album, headed out west for a week (sorry honey [Lauren Akins]). Might get a haircut? Playing some shows. Back at it, let’s go,” he wrote in his caption. Many Instagram commenters wondered whether the new album would be Rhett’s long-awaited Country Again Side B, a follow-up 2021’s Side A (it wasn’t immediately clear as of publication time whether Rhett was referring to Side B in his post).

Rhett went on to release his next full-length album, Where We Started, in 2022. The 15-track collection included “Half Of Me” with Riley Green, “Slow Down Summer,” “Death Row” with Tyler Hubbard and Russell Dickerson, “Where We Started” with Katy Perry and other highlights. In September 2023, Rhett also released a collaboration with Morgan Wallen (“Mamaw’s House”), and 20 Number Ones, a collection of his career-spanning hits. See Rhett’s post here:
