Chris Young tells a sentimental love story in the video for the romantic ballad he debuted on Friday morning (March 8), weeks away from the release of his ninth full-length studio album the most ambitious of his career so far.

Young produced “What She Sees in Me,” and wrote the track with Christian Davis Stalnecker, Kyle Fishman, Ray Fulcher and Josh Hoge. The music video, directed by Alexia Stone and Stephen Kinigopoulos, features Young seated at a piano and playing the song while a slideshow in the background captures sweet moments in his relationship.

“Now, I get to see how pretty she is when she wakes up / I get to see how perfect she is with no makeup / I can see us twenty years from now on an old porch swing / I still see her in every dream / I can see her faith when it gets tough / I can see her grace when I mess up / I can see how far she is out of my league / But I still can’t see what she sees in me / What she sees in me”

“What She Sees In Me” is the last new song to release before Young’s 18-track album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, arrives on March 22. So far, the country hitmaker has released “Looking For You,” “Double Down,” the David Bowie-inspired title track and others. Young is a songwriter on 15 of the 18 tracks, and the solo producer on three of them. In April, Young will kick off his headlining “Young Love & Saturday Nights Tour” with special guest Bryan Martin.

“This is what this album felt like it needed to be for me,” Young said in a statement. “It’s a little louder, a little more raw. Even the stripped-down songs are heavier. I love creating music and I love making it and the fact that I get to do that for a living is a pretty incredible thing.”

“I’ve been living with it for so long, I’m so excited for people to actually be able to dig into it and hear all of it as a whole as opposed to one or two teaser clips,” he previously told iHeartCountry of his next album, before he announced its title, release date and other details. “It’s always fun to post that stuff, but I want people to really dive into this album and enjoy the work that we’ve put into it.

“I know it’s gonna sound cliché, but this is one of my favorite projects I’ve ever made,” he continued. “If there was actually any inspiration for me being fired up and working on myself, it would probably be that the music is so good. I’m really, really proud of this project. I want people to hear it.”
