Rap Rising: Lil Wayne, Wheezy & Young Thug 'Bless' Fans With New Collab

Lil Wayne and Young Thug reunite on their first collaboration in years.
On Friday, April 5, Weezy and producer Wheezy released their new single "Bless" featuring Young Thug via Young Money Records/Republic Records. On the euphonic banger, the legendary artist fires off rapid rounds of boastful bars over Wheezy's impeccable beat. Young Thug comes through to hold down the hook with his melodic vocals. Their latest collaboration serves as the first offering of Lil Wayne and Wheezy's upcoming mixtape Weezy Vs. Wheezy. The Young Money co-founder previously announced the record during his surprise appearance with Jey Uso on WWE Monday Night Raw earlier this week.
This is the first time Wayne and Thugger have appeared on the same track in four years. Back in 2020, Wayne released his remix of "Out West" with Young Thug for his No Ceilings 3 mixtape.
Meanwhile, Quavo is back with his new collaboration with Destroy Lonely called "Loaded Potato." The Ginseng-produced banger has Quavo and the Opium artist traded verses back-and-forth. It's the third single the Atlanta rapper has delivered this year following "Himothy" and "Real One" with Rich The Kid. With all the new music he's dropped off lately, it's possible that he's prepping to release his third solo album sometime this year.
