A woman in North Carolina got "lucky for life" after landing a huge win the state lottery.

Asiiat Urusova, of Huntersville, recently purchased a $2 Lucky for Life ticket using Online Play for the March 28 drawing, ultimately winning the major $25,000 a year for life prize when she matched the numbers on all five white balls called during the drawing, according to a release from the NC Education Lottery.

"My heart was beating so quickly," she said. "I never felt that feeling before."

For the Mecklenburg County woman, she had a feeling she would soon win big, and fortunately for her, that time was now.

"I just had that feeling," she said. "I knew it was coming."

Of course, after winning such a massive prize, she had to share the exciting news with her husband. She recalled to lottery officials how she quickly called her husband, who at first thought something was "wrong."

"I called my husband and woke him up," she said. "I think he was afraid something was wrong."

Urusova claimed her prize at lottery headquarters in Raleigh where she had to make a choice to receive her prize as either the $25,000 per year for the rest of her life or as a one time, lump sum payment of $390,000. She chose the latter and took home a total of $278,857 after all required state and federal tax withholdings. Lottery officials said she plans to use her win to pay some bills and maybe even get a new car.
