When search for a place to settle down and call home, many factors may play into one's decision, such as safety and criminal activity, proximity to incredible restaurants and exciting nightlife, and access to quality health care or education. However, one of the biggest concerns when it comes to finding a home is the price. While there are plenty of more affordable places to live around the state, if you're looking for something a bit more extravagant, it will come with a heftier price tag.

According to a list compiled by Family Handyman, the most expensive neighborhood in all of Arizona is Paradise Valley and the 85253 zip code. With a population around 12,600, this neighborhood located outside of Phoenix has luxury amenities and plenty of nice restaurants that add to its lavish feel.

Here's what the site had to say about the most expensive zip code in the state:

"Paradise Valley has a median home value of $1,588,200. The small, affluent town in Maricopa County is known for its luxury golf courses, shopping and restaurant scene. No wonder it's called 'paradise!'"
