Man Found Guilty Of Shooting Neighbor Over Dog Poop Dispute

A Miami-Dade County man is facing up to life in prison after he was found guilty of killing his neighbor nearly nine years ago. A jury found 75-year-old Omar Rodriguez of second-degree murder and aggravated assault. Authorities say he shot Jose Rey inside their Kendall neighborhood over an argument on Father's Day in 2015. The victim's dog was trying to go to the bathroom in Rodriguez's son's yard before Rey was shot three times. Rodriguez is scheduled to face his sentencing next month.
