Jon Pardi Says Pregnant Wife Summer Pardi 'Was Meant To Be A Mom'

Jon Pardi said his wife, Summer Pardi, was “meant to be a mom.”

The country superstar and his wife are getting ready to welcome Baby No. 2 this year. They welcomed their firstborn child, daughter Presley Fawn Pardi, in the early morning hours on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Jon posted a photo of his then-newborn daughter to announce her arrival, sharing at that time: “Our Baby girl is here and ready to Pardi haha DAD joke!” Presley will have a 17-month age gap with her little sister, whose name “starts with an S,” Summer shared last month.

“Summer’s been a great Mom. She was meant to be a Mom, really,” Jon said via his record label. “She popped that baby out in like 45 minutes. It was crazy. Everybody was like, ‘Aw, 12 hour labor.’ And it was just like, boop, popped right out. She looks great. She’s definitely tired all the time, but it’s been fun. It’s been fun. It’s been easy, ‘cause Summer does all the work. I’m ready for the truck rides and the conversations and that stuff. (But) I do change the diapers and whatever.”

Jon also shared a shoutout to his own mother, “an angel.” The Grand Ole Opry member said his mom “takes care of people that aren’t even in the family. She’s always been like that, and she’s a great mother. She’s always proud, and she’s always there supporting and being a great mom. She’s just a good human being. There’s not one mean bone in her body. And she cries about every time I talk to her. She always worries about me. I have to tell her, ‘Stop worrying about me.’”

The Pardis announced earlier this year that Baby No. 2 is on the way. Soon after making their announcement, they followed up with their pizza-themed gender reveal, confirming that Baby No. 2 is another girl (“Jon said he knew it, I was definitely surprised,” Summer said at the time). The Pardis are among several others in the country music community expecting a baby in 2024.
