Have you ever heard the cliche, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder?" This popular statement is used to convey that one might see beauty in something another does not. A prime example of this would be a town. Someone might think that a particular town is the greatest place to live in all the world, while another is totally unaware of how special it is. People's opinions are directly related to preference and experience.

Given the above information, there is one town in each state that was perhaps overlooked by many the first time around. This town holds the reputation of the "most underrated town" in the entire state because of how special it came to be in the eyes of visitors across the globe despite not being the most popular destination for travelers.

According to a list compiled by Cheapism, the most underrated town in all of Texas is Wimberley.

Here's what Cheapism had to say about the most underrated town in Texas:

"If you've never heard of Wimberley, that's probably because the town is easily lost in the giant shadows cast by the cities it's nestled between: Austin and San Antonio. Yet even residents of those great cities head to Wimberley when they crave a refreshing change of scenery. That includes, among other things, rejuvenation in the Jacob's Natural Well area, enlightenment in one of the town's many art galleries, or a twirl around the 11 dance halls that make up the Wimberley Dance Hall Wheel."
