Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins hilariously reminisced on memories throughout their relationship and old throwback photos on Monday (May 13).

Rhett kicked off the trend, setting a reel to his newly-debuted single as he shared snapshots of Akins over the years. He wrote in his caption on Instagram: “Saint, goddess, cutest, hottest… a masterpiece 💀 love you [Lauren Akins] (and sorry) your turn... tag your person using the song.” Akins quickly followed with a reel of her own. She responded in her caption: “two can play at this game honey ❤️”

Rhett and Akins married on October 12, 2012. They’ve since welcomed four daughters: Willa Gray (8), Ada James (6), Lennon Love (4), and Lillie Carolina (2).

Rhett released “Beautiful As You” on Friday (May 10). The heartfelt anthem arrives as the country star prepares to release his seventh full-length studio album this year. He said it’s “an anthem for everybody who feels like they out-kicked their coverage. There was one day a couple years back when I was looking at my wife, and I was like, ‘Why in the world did you choose me?’ I get to be with someone who could easily be on the cover of a magazine, and I get to see her in all her forms – a partner, a mother, a friend, even a philanthropist. I just feel like I’ve got a first row seat at almost-perfection, if you will. And like the song says, ‘Seriously, what is somebody as amazing as you doing with somebody like me?’”

Rhett’s album will release on August 23.

Rhett will deliver the debut live performance of “Beautiful As You” live at the 59th ACM Awards on Thursday, May 16.
