Jana Kramer Reveals Premiere Date Of Movie With 'One Tree Hill' Co-Star

Jana Kramer announced the release date of her upcoming movie that reunites her with a One Tree Hill co-star on Wednesday (May 15). Gaslit By My Husband: The Morgan Metzer Story arrives on June 9.

Kramer, 40, executive produces the film and strs as Morgan Metzer in the Lifetime “Ripped from the Headlines” thriller. The actress, country artist, author and podcast host stars opposite Austin Nichols, and alongside real-life daughter Jolie Rae Caussin, 8, playing her mother’s onscreen daughter as she makes her acting debut.

“There is a lot to say around this but for now….I am ready to bring this true story to life and be a conduit for freedom for other women. Also wildly proud to have my daughter play my on screen daughter alongside me and of course work again with [Austin Nichols]. Thank you [Lifetime] for this next journey,” Kramer wrote in an Instagram caption as she announced details about the film earlier this year. She added the hashtag, “domestic violence awareness.”

Nichols plays Kramer’s onscreen husband as the two portray a story of an abusive marriage and a staged attack against Kramer’s character by a masked man, who turns out to be her husband. Kramer has previously spoken publicly about abusive relationships. She’ll also film a PSA for LIfetime’s Stop Violence Against Women initiative, per a previous report. See her movie announcement here:
