Drake & Nicki Minaj Lead Nominations For BET Awards 2024

Drake and Nicki Minaj take the lead with the most nominations for the BET Awards 2024.
On Thursday, May 16, BET shared the full list of nominees ahead of the annual awards show next month. Drake received seven nominations in categories like Album of the Year for his For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition as well as Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and more. Nicki Minaj comes in second with six nominations including Album of the Year for Pinky Friday 2 plus Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Best Collaboration. Meanwhile, J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA and Victoria Monet all scored five nominations each.
In addition to the nominees, BET also revealed a slew of performers who will hit the stage during the show. GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, and Victoria Monét are all expected to perform on the Culture's Biggest Night. Their performances will follow a week full of events during the BET Experience 2024. There will be two live concert lineups featuring performances by Cardi B, Davido, Gunna, The Roots, Common, Queen Latifah, Jungle Brothers, and plenty more. Fans will also get to enjoy comedy shows, the 106 & Park Stage, a roller-skating rink curated by DJ Mustard, and other exciting activities.
Fans can begin voting for the Viewer’s Choice Award on June 6 until June 30. The show will air live on Sunday, June 30 at 8 p.m. on BET. See the full list of nominees below.
