BML Friday: Misdirected Outrage

May 17, 2024

Maybe people are just ready to blow up over anything. Maybe they are so self-focused they can’t see the world around them. But they are outraged and willing to unleash their ire on anyone and everyone. We’ll have some examples today and none of them have to do with Queers for Palestine or anti-Israel protests.

In a Handbasket we have an Orlando coffee house that has an abortion problem. The outrage mob went after them. The response has me thinking they could run an Ivy League college.

The drug pushers are doing their job and they are well funded. The pro-pot businesses are pooling their funds to push legalization on Florida and their ads are heading our way.

The kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs is a devout Catholic. He was the commencement speaker at a Catholic university and he gave a Catholic message. The outrage mob can’t handle it and neither could the NFL. The fans could, though. His jersey is now a top-seller at the NFL store.

Concealed Carry permits are no longer necessary in Florida. Permits are advisable if you travel out of state for reciprocity purposes. We have a look at the permits issued in the state’s 10 most populous counties. Hey, Brevard- we’re #1.

A Florida Today story says JJ Dynamite, school board member Jennifer Jenkins, is starting an anti-Moms for Liberty group. We have already had a Hags for Bondage attempt or two and they failed miserably. But, JJ’S going to try it again and it caused me to realize something…JJ has tried to emulate Tina Descovich her entire public career.
