SHAED Amplify Complexity In 'Dreamy' New Single 'Maybe I Don't Know How'

SHAED released a brand new single on Friday (May 17) shedding light on the inability to let go of love amid a groovy backbeat and soothing vocals. The talented trio are professionals at capturing a very rare, dreamy, synthy sound in a way that only SHAED can, present within each line of new, tantalizing track, "Maybe I Don't Know How".
The single magnifies the confusion and complexity of relationships, offering listeners comfort in the fact that no one really knows exactly how to let go of a love that they thought would stand the tests of time. The lo-fi lyricists have drawn in thousands of fans in the last couple of months fueled by undeniable skill and a viral video that took off on Instagram in March.
The video in question depicts SHAED bringing unmatched energy to a New York City subway station performance as Machine Gun Kelly and Trippie Redd watch in awe, entranced by the trio's ability to bring the absolute best vibes to any scene. The artists gifted the world a music video to accompany "Maybe I Don't Know How," standing out as the perfect visual, while also allowing fans to run with their own vision for the track.
Per a press release, SHAED hopes fans are met with encouragement to let go of insecurities and a reminder to embrace individuality as they listen to the single.
“This song is about trying to let go of the negative forces that prevent you from being yourself. In this video, I let go of the insecurities of my changing body, and embraced who I am at this moment - a very pregnant bowling ball with a fat ass! And it felt pretty damn good.”
The artists have a lot in the works including an album titled Spinning Out to be released next month that will feature the new track among other soul-stirring singles. They were recently featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live and will also sit down with Kelly Clarkson in June to discuss the project it its entirety on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
