Shower sex…it’s one of those things that everyone seems to want to try, but then regrets it once they realize how many pleasure-preventing pitfalls there are when putting it to the test. For some, this might dissuade them from ever wanting to try it again. For others, knowledge is power…and getting some advance planning in could make all the difference when it comes to a more enjoyable experience next time. These are some tips from those who’ve been there and learned from their mistakes, and they can get you on the plus side of the shower sex equation next time.

  • Silicone Lube – It’s your friend in the shower. All that extra water teeming down will wash away water-based lubes. Trust us…it helps…
  • Bench – If your shower has one, then you probably already know its value. If you don’t have one, find a hotel where the shower has one and you’ll be on your way to your next home remodeling project
  • Shower Head – We’re talking about the actual shower head, you perv. Any honest women will tell you how positive the relationship between their special places and a truly great and movable shower head can be. There’s no reason why you can’t incorporate a proven winner like that into the action
  • Shower Head Aim – When the friction gets going, the last thing you want is to point that shower head at the in-and-out zone…it’ll work against the friction you’re looking for
  • Toys – They’re your friends. Bring them. Use them. Cherish them
  • Positions – Trying out freaky positions on a wet and slippery service is a recipe for a one-way trip to the ER. Keep it simple, safe, and effective
  • Enjoy The Moment – It can be a hot and steamy experience, so take time to be present in the moment and appreciate who you’re with, what you’re doing, and how awesome it is
  • No Rough Stuff – Save that kinky stuff for parts of the house that aren’t wet and slippery
  • Period Sex – If you’re going to do it during that time, the shower is way to go
  • Bedroom Finish – Just because it starts in the shower doesn’t mean that’s where it has to end. Think of the shower as the first act of a much longer performance, and take it to the bedroom for Act Two, and beyond
  • Shower Mat – Will give your action some traction
  • Beyond The Genitals – The wetness…a nice smelling soap…it gives you the chance to find how sensitive other parts of the body can be when properly stroked, rubbed and stimulated
  • YouTube – There something for everyone and everything there, including shower bloopers, like putting too much weight on the shower door, leaning on something you shouldn’t have, slipping, and all that other stuff that can go wrong
