The Dungeon Family reunited for a special occasion weeks after they lost the group's founding member Rico Wade.

On Sunday, May 26, OutKast, Killer Mike, Goodie Mob and other affiliates gathered for a bar-b-que outside of Wade's old family home in Georgia, which is famously known as "The Dungeon," to celebrate André 3000's 49th birthday. Mike and other longtime members of the Atlanta-based collective shared photos and videos from the cookout that show 3 Stacks, Big Boi, Sleepy Brown, Goodie Mob's Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo posted up with Wade's family including his mother.

The Dungeon Family reunion happened several weeks after Rico Wade's sudden death. Wade passed away at 52 back in April, but his cause of death has yet to be confirmed. He was survived by his wife and children. Wade was laid to rest during a private memorial service in Atlanta. Prior to the service, 68 members of Clark Atlanta University's band performed hits that the Organized Noize created in front of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta while his family and friends arrived to mourn him.

“From the beginning, Organized Noize signed us," Big Boi said in a joint statement OutKast shared to social media last month. "They were our big brothers, and they did a production deal with LaFace Records. They were the ones that gave us our first shot and we been doing music with them since the beginning. Without Rico Wade… there would be no OutKast.”

Before the funeral, Goodie Mob member CeeLo Green announced that he purchased "The White House" — which is another historic landmark in Atlanta's Hip-Hop history. It's the home Rico Wade bought and moved into after he and the Dungeon Family outgrew his family's old home. Green revealed his plans to turn the home into a museum that everyone can experience in the future.
