It looks like YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Birdman are no longer on good terms after the troubled rapper dissed him on a new song.

On Sunday night, June 9, media personality Akademiks debuted YB's brand new track "Tears of War." On the nearly six-minute song, the incarcerated rapper goes after his former collaborator by falling back on advice Lil Wayne gave him on Weezy's 2020 track "Multiple Flows" in which he raps, "And I had told YoungBoy to watch out for old head.”

“Knew that Stunna never loved me, should’ve listened to Carter," YB spits.

There's no word on what exactly caused the rift between YB and Birdman. Up until now, the two Louisiana artists had a tight bond. Back in 2021, they teamed up for a joint album called From The Bayou that consists of 13 and no other features. Birdman likened YB to Weezy and even considered him the "biggest rapper" at the time.

“I think NBA YoungBoy might be the biggest rapper,” Birdman declared on the Big Facts podcast. “Ain’t no n***a gone be bigger than NBA YoungBoy, numbers don’t lie, he’s the biggest YouTube artist and he behind the wall."

"He special," he continued. "Big money right there. I think he’s a billion-dollar n***a, in the flesh. He gon’ get it in touring, merch, music. We can’t do nothing about it.”

According to Ak, "Tears of War" was the final song YB recorded before he was arrested for his alleged involvement in a prescription drug fraud ring in Utah. He and two others were caught in the act as they allegedly defrauded pharmacies by calling in fake prescriptions for promethazine with codeine. His bail was set at $100,000 last month.
