Texas houses so many wonderful, thriving cities and towns, making it hard to decipher which come out on top. Based on a variety of factors, there are six Texas destinations considered to be the best places to live in the entire state. Be it job opportunity, healthcare, population, or life expectancy (to name only a few factors), these locations excel on all fronts, and today, we're going to discuss why.

According to a list compiled by Livability, the best places to live in Texas are Lubbock (top-tier education, thriving music scene), Abilene (friendly neighborhood, quality of life), Frisco (suburban charm, top-notch schools), Tyler (affordable housing, tight-knit community), Round Rock (parks, low cost of living), and Sugar Land (top-rated schools, southern charm). These locations also ranked among the best in the country!
