Kris Jenner recently underwent an extremely "emotional" surgery to remove a tumor found on her ovaries earlier this year. The Kardashians matriarch detailed the "very sad" experience in the latest episode of the series on Thursday (July 11).
"I'm gonna have a hysterectomy. It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call."
Doctors initially thought that the issue could be solved by the removal of her ovaries, but later discovered that additional organs would have to be addressed.
"I'm going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life," Jenner grieves in reference to her uterus. The 68-year-old entertainment icon is thankful to be able to lean on family and friends during this time, but is still very forlorn about the whole process. She broke the news to a few of her daughters in May, citing the scan that started it all.
"I'm very emotional about it, because when you're young, you start talking about wanting a family. It was all we talked about literally for 40, 50 years. So, here we are now talking about it again and it's the other side of the process."
The world-renowned momager concluded her health update by assuring viewers that, despite mentally struggling with the details surrounding the operation, it was successful and she's "feeling great."
Fans can keep up with Jenner's health on The Kardashians, airing every Thursday on Hulu.
