Seth Rider, a 27-year-old triathlete from Germantown, Tennessee, is set to represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Born on March 6, 1997, Rider has been competing in triathlons since he was six years old, inspired by watching his father and brothers participate in the sport.
Rider's journey to the Olympics has been marked by his dedication and talent. He grew up racing through USA Triathlon’s youth and junior elite triathlon circuit and has been a member of the U.S. Elite Triathlon National Team for several years. In addition to traditional triathlons, Rider has also competed in off-road mountain biking triathlons, placing fourth at the 2021 XTERRA World Championships.
Known for his prowess in the cycling leg of the triathlon, Rider is currently considered one of the best cyclists on the triathlon circuit. When he's not training, he enjoys drinking coffee.

He is a four-time World Mixed Relay Series Medalist, a 2019 U23/Junior Mixed Relay World Championships Bronze Medalist, and a 2018 Clermont CAMTRI Sprint Triathlon American Cup Bronze Medalist.
