50 Cent is mourning the loss of his grandfather the only way he knows how.

Earlier this week, the accomplished rapper-filmmaker announced that his grandfather Curtis Jackson Sr. passed away. He didn't reveal an exact cause of death but he did say that he had visited him in the hospital recently. On Thursday, August 1, he followed up with a lighthearted tribute to the man who helped raise him as a child with several vintage photos of them together. He even recalled the last memory he had with his granddad right before he died.

"My old man is tuff act to follow, he sacrificed for all of us," 50 Cent wrote.

"He made me smile every time I saw him," Fif continued. "The Last time he went to the hospital he was dehydrated so the nurse couldn’t find a vein. I came in, I said pop you alright? He said no🤨,she stick me again and I’m a start shooting. LOL 😆 I almost fell out! 😆🤣😂 South Side we out side WTF!"

Since then, 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson III, has posted other classic memories of him and his grandfather. In one video, the two talked about his grandfather's past experiences with women back in his day. Fif also said his grandpops is his favorite member of the family in a clip from his 2002 Get Rich or Die Tryin' documentary.

50 Cent lost his granddad right after his cover story for The Hollywood Reporter dropped. During the extensive interview, 50 Cent opened up about his issues with Diddy and JAY-Z. He also talks about the launch of his new FAST Channel, which is a live TV channel that will feature new shows, movies and other content for free. The channel was created in partnership with Lionsgate and comes months after he opened his new production studio in Shreveport, La.

Rest in peace to Curtis Jackson Sr. Check out more memories 50 Cent posted below.
