Garbage have canceled all remaining tour dates in 2024 after Shirley Manson sustained an injury during their European tour. The band shared the unfortunate news in a statement on Instagram.

"It is with great and sincere regret that we announce the cancellation of all our remaining dates for the rest of the year due to an injury that Shirley sustained on our recent tour in Europe that will require surgery and rehabilitation to correct," it reads. "This is not a decision we have taken lightly and we apologise wholeheartedly to our amazing fans and supportive promoters. We look forward to playing for you all again in 2025. Sending so much love as always. Stay kind."

Manson captioned the post, writing: "No one is more crushed about this than I am. You know I would push through if I could." No details about the injury were revealed.

Among the affected dates were Ohana Fest in Dana Point, Califtonia and HFStival in Washington, DC. DEVO is set to replace Garbage at Ohana Fest, and Liz Phair will take their place at HFStival.

In addition to touring, Garbage have also been working on their eighth album. The yet-to-be-announced project will be a follow-up to 2021's No Gods No Masters.
