Lil Wayne's book of handwritten rhymes will hit the auction block for way more than the original asking price.

According to a report TMZ published on Sunday, August 4, the sought-after book of lyrics will be auctioned by seller Moments In Time for a whopping $5 million after a legal battle over the book wrapped up earlier this year. For the unfamiliar, a man reportedly found the notebook in a car previously owned by Cash Money Records while he worked at a car dealership. Wayne initially tried to block the sale by issuing a cease-and-desist and demanding his property back.

The notebook was made in 1999 by a then-rising, 17-year-old Lil Wayne. It contains lyrics to songs like "We On Fire" and "I Feel" from his time in the Cash Money group Hot Boys. Wayne's notebook also has old sketches young Weezy drew himself. However, it also has some water damage since the man stored the notebook in his garage, which suffered from damages thanks to Hurricane Katrina.

Wayne's attorneys argued that Moments In Time had no right to sell his handmade lyrics and accused the man of lying. The man responded by claiming the notebook was his after he found it. Wayne's team reportedly didn't respond to the man after that so the judge ruled against the rapper. The notebook was originally sold for $250,000. Now that the legal battle is over, Moments In Time will auction it for $5 million.
