Big Lots is shuttering "hundreds" of stores across America amid financial struggles, including a handful of locations in Pennsylvania, in an effort to avoid bankruptcy.

6 Big Lots stores across Pennsylvania are slated to close in the near future, per the popular discount home goods chain's website.

At least 35 to 40 of the chain's 1,389 stores are currently in the process of closing following a $114.5 million sales decrease from 2023 to 2024, and an 84% decrease in stock over the course of a year.

Many of the locations that plan to close their doors are currently running 20% off discount sales as the shuttering process proceeds. Stores in 36 states have officially begun to advertise their closures, with the heaviest hit being California, loosing a whopping 75 stores. On the other hand, some larger states, including Texas, do not plan to shutter any stores as the big box chain sorts out its finances.

Here is a list of all the Big Lots closing across Pennsylvania:

  • 713 E Baltimore Ave., Clifton Heights
  • 2820 Gracy Center Way, Coraopolis
  • 201 West Lincoln Hwy, Exton
  • 345 Scarlet Rd., Ste 22, Kennett Square
  • 199 Franklin Mills Blvd., Philadelphia
  • 2980 Whiteford Rd., York
