Travis Scott has reportedly been arrested in Paris for allegedly assaulting a security guard at a luxury hotel.

According to a report NBC News published on Friday, August 9, police were called to the George V hotel in central Paris overnight to break up a fight. The Paris prosecutor's officer said Scott got into a scuffle with his bodyguard. The Utopia rapper was taken into custody after he allegedly assaulted a hotel security guard, who attempted to stop the brawl. French authorities confirmed that the case was referred to the 1st district of the judicial police.

“We are in direct communication with the local Parisian authorities to swiftly resolve this matter and will provide updates when appropriate," a rep for Scott told iHeartRadio.

It was all good just hours before the alleged fight. Travis Scott was in town to hang out with his friend Quavo at the Men's Olympic basketball semifinal. The Huncho Jack rappers sat courtside with Michael Rubin and witnessed Team USA beat Serbia. After the game, Scott was seen dodging a trove of paparazzi who attempted to take photos of him.

At one point, the "FE!N" artist also stopped to talk to French policemen and asked how they felt about all the people who were following him in the streets. He managed to convince one of them to accompany him as he made his way to his ride.

Scott was arrested over a month after he was apprehended by police in Miami Beach for disorderly intoxication and trespassing. The rapper, born Jacques Webster, had gotten into a heated argument with the crew on a yacht he was on. The fight in Paris happened just hours after prosecutors in Miami decided to drop the charges against him.
