Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was arrested Tuesday (August 13) morning after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun the previous night, according to a police report obtained by ESPN.

Hall, 21, was charged with domestic violence and pleaded not guilty with his bond set at $10,000 and a hearing scheduled for September 10, according to a clerk at Avon Lake Municipal Court. Hall allegedly grabbed a handgun during an argument with a woman and pressed it against her temple while threatening, "I will f***ing end it all. I don't care," the police report states.

The woman identified herself as Hall's fiancée and the mother of his 11-month-old child while speaking to police. The victim said the argument intensified after the two discussed the financial needs of her daughter from a different relationship.

The woman claims Hall screamed at her to leave the house, grabbed her by the feet and dragged her back down the hallway, according to the police report. Hall reportedly left the house prior to responding officers' arrival.

The victim's mother corroborated details of her account in a written statement, which included witnessing Hall strike her daughter on the head with a baby bottle, choke her, push her head through a wall and break open a bedroom door, which he then dragged her through, the report states. Authorities observed several indicators of a physical altercation while walking through the home during their investigation, as well as two handguns lying on a mattress.

The Browns issued a statement Tuesday morning confirming they were aware of Hall's arrest.

"We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall Jr. last night. Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this time," the team said via ESPN.

"We have been in contact with the club regarding the matter, which will be reviewed under the personal conduct policy," NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy said in a statement obtained by ESPN.

Hall was selected by the Browns at No. 54 overall in the second-round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The Cleveland native spent his collegiate career at Ohio State and was a two-time third-team All-Big Ten selection in 2022 and 2023.
