A shocking video captured two toddlers wandering in the middle of a Texas highway after they were ejected from a car. The video shows one of the babies standing and looking confused while the other slowly stood up and looked around.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said there was a two-car accident on Interstate 10 East Freeway at Freeport in which a Jeep flipped over several times, ejecting an adult and the two babies.
An adult rushed over to the babies, who were only wearing diapers, and picked one up, while another man checked on the other child.
While the children appeared to be fine in the video, officials said they were taken to the hospital and are listed in serious but stable condition. No information was provided about the condition of the adult.
The occupants of the other vehicle were unharmed.
It is unclear if the children were properly secured in a car seat before the crash. Officials said that the crash remains under investigation.
