Former Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announced their relationship has officially come to an end in a message shared in Instagram on Wednesday (August 14).
The pair found love in the villa during season five of the popular ITV reality series in 2019, and were inseparable from the moment Hague pulled Fury for a chat as one of her first dates as a bombshell. The Love Island legends have since gotten engaged and welcomed their one-year-old daughter Bambi into the world. Hague was first to reveal news of the sudden split, citing disbelief and difficulty.
"Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined that our story would come to an end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority."
The entrepreneur continued, thanking fans for supporting their relationship over the last half-decade.
"I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all. Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks, please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time. I'll be back when it feels right."
Information regarding an exact reason for the pair's split was not mentioned, but it is known that both Hague and Fury were extremely busy in the months leading up to their breakup, so much so that Hague admitted to "solo parenting" their daughter for two weeks while the boxer sought to complete creative endeavors (per The U.S. Sun).
Fury has yet to comment on the split. See photos of the official announcement via The U.S. Sun.
