Kristin Cavallari took a significant step in advocating for sustainability by joining the Environmental Working Group (EWG) for a pivotal conversation on clean beauty. On Tuesday (August 13), Cavallari discussed clean living and sustainable beauty efforts with Jocelyn Lyle, EWG’s Executive Vice President, Mission & Partnerships at Nashville's Kimpton Aertson Hotel. This collaboration comes on the heels of the launch of Cavallari's latest Uncommon James fragrance, which underscores her commitment to environmentally friendly practices. Her involvement with the EWG highlights her dedication to promoting transparency and safety in beauty products, reflecting a broader movement towards cleaner, more ethical consumer choices.

Her participation in this dialogue aims to raise awareness about the importance of clean beauty standards and the impact of personal care products on both health and the environment. On living clean, she explained “I really feel like we all have a right to know everything that we’re putting on our bodies and in our bodies. It just blows my mind quite honestly that we don’t have transparency. I want my daughter to be able to come into my bathroom and grab any product – makeup, skincare, whatever it is, and have peace of mind that she's using it.”
