Future is prepping fans for his upcoming mixtape by teasing new music from the project.

On Monday, September 2, the Grammy award-winning rapper shared a snippet of his upcoming song "Lil Demon" off Mixtape Pluto. The clip begins with an apparent logo for the project followed by scenes from a studio session that shows Future Hendrix decked out in diamond chains while surrounded by half-naked women. You can see all the ladies dance and shoot hoops outside as the bass-heavy track plays in the background. It's the first sound byte from the anticipated mixtape since he announced it in May.

Future originally declared his plans to release the mixtape on May 10. At the time, he intended to release the project on the same day as Gunna's One Of Wun album. Fans believed it was a plot to diss Wunna, especially after he had just helped fuel Hip-Hop's civil war with his WE STILL DON'T TRUST YOU album with Metro Boomin.

"F**k yo album S**t ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE," Pluto wrote on X. "MIXTAPE PLUTO."

The release date came and went without a mixtape. Future decided to focus on his collaboration with Tee Grizzley instead. A few weeks later, Future popped up with an update about the project.

"I can’t sleep until it’s complete #MIXTAPEPLUTO," he posted on X.

Future has been booked and busy over the past few months. While he put the finishing touches on the project, the "Like That" rapper has been touring the country with Metro Boomin for their "We Trust You Tour." The tour is expected to wrap up next week during its final stop in Vancouver, Canada. As of this report, it's not clear whether or not Future aims to drop his project ahead of the tour's finale. However, the pre-save link for Mixtape Pluto is available now.
