Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was cited for careless driving and failing to wear his seat belt during the traffic stop that led to his detainment prior to his team's Week 1 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday (September 8), TMZ Sports.
"High rate [of] speed visual estimation 60 MPH, no seat belt. High [traffic] of pedestrians and [vehicles]," an officer noted on the careless driving ticket.
The citations, which don't require Hill to appear in court, carry a total fine of $208 if he pleads or is found guilty. Video footage of Hill's detainment was shared ESPN's Jeff Darlington showing Hill being pulled out of the car and forced on the ground by multiple officers.
Hill appears to be on the phone with his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, while being pulled out of his vehicle.
Here is the original interaction with police, who pull Tyreek Hill out of his car after disagreements over his window. The officer says to Hill, “When we tell you to do something, you do it. You understand? Not what you want. What we tell you. You are a little fucking confused.” pic.twitter.com/lFc86WNHs9
