By Tony M. Centeno
September 20, 2024
Future is moving way too fast on the latest single from his brand-new mixtape.
On Friday, September 20, the Atlanta native delivered his highly-anticipated project MIXTAPE PLUTO via Epic Records. The featureless tracklist consists of several notable bangers including "TOO FAST" which is iHeartRadio's latest World Premiere. On the song produced by Taurus, DJ Champ, McCoy, & Ike Made, Future Hendrix raps about splurging on women who don't stick around for too long.
"I'm spendin' racks on you too fast/Without even tryin', I spend a bag on you," he raps. "Drivin' it fast, doin' the dash, without even tryin' to/No, I didn't birth you, but I designed you."
MIXTAPE PLUTO is Future's third project of 2024 following his successful joint projects with Metro Boomin WE DON'T TRUST YOU and WE STILL DON'T TRUST YOU. His latest solo project includes stand-out tracks like "SURFING A TSUNAMI," "LOST MY DOG" and "PRESS THE BUTTON." It also contains production from Wheezy, Southside, London On Da Track, ATL Jacob and more. The cover art for the project features a purple-tinted image of The Dungeon in Atlanta where his late cousin Rico Wade and the Dungeon Family recorded in the 1990s. Prior to releasing the mixtape, Future reflected on Wade's death.
"My cousin never died in my eyes.. Rico Wade u already know what u mean to me!" he wrote on X. "I Thank the most high for blessin me with the greatest human being that it could Ever b! Billionaire status buz 👀 over us 🦅🐍"
