Ye has announced the plans for his next solo album and gave fans a taste of what to expect.

The veteran artist held another massive listening session at the Wuyuan River Stadium in Haikou, China on Saturday, September 28. During the show, the artist formerly known as Kanye West revealed his next solo album Bully is in the works. He didn't confirm a release date, but he did debut an unreleased track from the upcoming project called "Beauty & The Beast."

“I got a new album coming out," Ye told the crowd. "The album is called Bully. And this song is called “Beauty and the Beast.”

"Beauty & The Beast" begins with Ye's soothing vocals over a classic instrumental that might remind fans of the old Kanye. “I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience," he spits on the chorus. "Don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect.” According to producer Mike Dean, the song was a leftover that was intended to appear on Ye's 2021 album Donda. The song didn't sound complete but it was enough to rile up fans ahead of the next phase of Ye's solo career.

This is the latest track Ye has previewed in China. At his first show earlier this month, the 47-year-old artist debuted another unreleased song called "Preacher Man." So far, there's no formal release date for the aforementioned tracks.

Don't expect Ye to drop his next project anytime soon. The announcement comes nearly two months after Ye and Ty Dolla $ign dropped the second installment of their VULTURES album series. The three-part series was supposed to be released in full earlier this year. However, various issues prevented caused the first and second albums to be delayed. As of this report, there's no word on when fans will receive the final installment.
