Kelly Clarkson Freaks Out Over Celine Dion's Reaction To Her Cover

Kelly Clarkson just hit the peak of her life because she is freaking out over Celine Dion's reaction to her "My Heart Will Go On" cover, as one should.

After covering Dion's infamous Titanic song on her talk show, Kelly received a video from Celine herself praising Clarkson for her performance. Celine said in the video, "I just saw you singing 'My Heart Will Go On' and I'm crying again. You were absolutely incredible. Fantastic."

On Instagram, Kelly replied to Celine's video by saying in the caption of her post, "You have no idea how much you even noticing my existence means to me! Thank you so much for being such an amazing example of true passion and being one of the greatest vocalists of all time that I am still, to this day, inspired by."

In her own video, she explained the story of how during American Idol, she had laryngitis while having to perform Dion's "I Surrender," and how this was a full-circle moment for her. She concluded by saying, "I got to honor someone who is such a hero to me vocally, like she is one of my like main inspirations of why I'm a singer," while also inviting Celine to come on her show.

Kelly added, "I can quit now in life. I'm retiring. Goodnight."
