Brantley Gilbert and his wife welcomed Baby No. 3 during what “might have been the craziest night of my life.”

The country star revealed in a post on Instagram on Saturday (October 12) that his wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, went into labor during his concert in Tupelo, Mississippi. “Shortly after Brantley’s set starts, he gets pulled away for an emergency backstage,” per the video he posted on social media. Gilbert rushed off stage, and the video transitions to a clip of Gilbert calling his mother to tell her about her new grandchild. Gilbert returned to the stage and said to the crowd, “we got a baby,” and the audience cheered.

“We’ve got a new addition to the Gilbert family,” he said as he shared the video on his Instagram story on Saturday. “God is good.”

“So last night might have been the craziest night of my life,” the “You Don't Know Her Like I Do” artist recounted in his caption. “Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget. Thank you to our road family for rallying around us, Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this little dude into the world, Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us mad love and support, and most of all… Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”

Gilbert and his wife shared photos on Instagram on Mother’s Day to announce Amber was pregnant with Baby No. 3. Gilbert and his wife tied the knot in June 2015 (Gilbert recently shared why Amber was nearly “the one that got away” during an emotional conversation on a recent episode of God’s Country). They’re also parents to son Barrett Hardy-Clay, 6, and daughter Braylen Hendrix, 5. Gilbert didn’t share his newborn baby’s name as of publication time on Saturday evening.
