What makes a place special? The "it" factor that sets it apart from all others and makes it a spot that you would want to settle down and make a home for yourself. Entertainment venues, a wide array of restaurants, affordable prices, job opportunities — whatever "it" may be depends on each person, but one county in Tennessee was named as the best place to live in the entire state.

According to a list compiled by 24/7 Wall St., the "best county" to live in in Tennessee is Williamson County, which has a median household income of $116,492 (compared to the $58,516 state average) and a life expectancy of 81.7 years. Additionally, the poverty rate for this area is 3.9%, far below the state average of 14.3%.
