Miley Cyrus On How Nine Inch Nails, Britney Spears Inspired Her New Music

Miley Cyrus gets very diverse on her seventh album, Plastic Hearts, as she drew inspiration from a few different artists, spanning several genres, including Nine Inch Nails and Britney Spears (on one song!).

During her exclusive iHeartRadio Album Listening Party, Cyrus talked about Plastic Hearts track "Give Me What I Want," and explained of the song, "This is like if Nine Inch Nails and Britney Spears had a baby. That's my inspiration." She added, "Somehow, that perfectly sums up who I am in some way, because I think ... you know, that's what I kind of meant by this record, is almost, like, I've kind of been calling it a 'cocktail of chaos.' It's like this concoction of every bit of influence."
