Steven Tyler Reveals 'Best Kept Aerosmith Secret Of All'

It's been eight years since fans have hard a new Aerosmith album, but the guys are back together on their latest body of work, Music from Another Dimension!.

In an interview with iHeartRadio, the band's Joe Perry said, "We got inspired to do the record. Then we took eight years or so to decide to go in the studio and do it. But after a couple of false starts, this is the record." He added later on, "And it was the first time that we got together as a band in a room with a producer and started cranking stuff up. It's basically been the same way we've made records all along. It feels good."

Steven Tyler added, "I think this time we overwrote again. That's been the best Aerosmith secret of all, doing 20 songs."
